Games are fun, engaging, and effective ways for kids to learn languages no matter whether they are learning Chinese, English, or other languages.
In this post, you can find 24 sports cards, and 12 ball cards which can be used for sports-themed bingo games and cube games, and are free to download.
How to use sports cards
Bingo Games
Print out the 3×3 bingo template and the sports or ball cards for each student;
Cut out the eight or nine sports or balls cards you would like your students to practice;
Hand out one bingo sheet (the template) and the number of cards to each student;
Have students arrange the cards on the 3X3 bingo board in any order they like.
Game starts. As the teacher or parent calls out the word the learners will turn the card over.
The learner who turns three cards over in a straight line first wins the game.
This game can be played over and over again.

Cube Games
Print out the dice template;
Cut out six sports or balls cards you would like your students to practice;
Glue and paste the six cards on the six sides of the dice;
Cut out the dice template, glue the edges;
It’s ready to play.
Students take turns to roll the dice;
Students look at the picture of the dice they have rolled, say the name of the sport or ball, or make sentences with it base on their learning goals.
