HSK

HSK stands for (hàn yǔ shuǐ píng kǎo shì/汉语水平考试) and is also known as the Chinese proficiency test. HSK is an international standard test given to non-native Chinese speakers to assess their abilities in using the Chinese language in their daily, academic, and professional lives. HSK consists of six levels from HSK1 (level one) through HSK6 (level six), and each HSK test includes a writing test and a speaking test, which are independent of each other. HSK1 is the beginner level.
