Free Summer Matching Puzzle Worksheets

On this page, you can find two versions of the summer matching puzzle worksheets for your young learners to practice summer-themed Chinese words. They are Chinese Characters (Hanzi) version and Hanzi+Pinyin version.

The summer matching puzzle worksheets can also be made into a set of flashcards for teaching or reviewing summer vocabulary.

There are sixteen summer-themed words in the matching puzzle worksheets. They are:

1. sun: 太阳 / tài yáng
2. T-shirt: T恤 / T xù
3. shorts: 短裤 / duǎn kù

5. swim ring游泳圈 / yóu yǒng quān
6：beach: 海滩 / hǎi tān
7: ball: 球 / qiú
8: sandals: 凉鞋 / liáng xié
9: sunshade: 遮阳伞 / zhē yáng sǎn
10: sunglasses墨镜 / mò jìng
11. swimsuit: 游泳衣 / yóu yǒng yī
12. hat: 帽子 / mào zi
13. sun cream: 防晒霜 / fáng shài shuāng
14. ice-cream: 冰激凌 / bīng jī líng
15. juice: 果汁 / guǒ zhī
16. watermelon: 西瓜 / xī guā

One set has images and Chinese characters. It is perfect for young learners who are learning Chinese characters to practice with.

The other set has images, Chinese characters and Pinyin. It is great for those who are beginner learners and learning the Chinese vocabulary.
