Winter-Themed Chinese Colors Worksheets

Colors can always delight children whenever in spring or summer, fall or winter, there are always beautiful seasons for kids to discover the theme of their colors.

On this page, you can find 6 pages of fun and engaging coloring and matching Chinese activity worksheets for learning eight names of colors in Chinese.

The Eight Color Words Are:

red: 红色hóng sè
blue: 蓝色lán sè
yellow: 黄色huáng sè
purple: 紫色zǐ sè
green: 绿色lǜ sè orange: 橙色chéng sè
black: 黑色hēi sè
white: 白色bái sè

The worksheets are divided into 3 sets based on the difficulty level, kids can either do all the levels from level one through level three as it extends the difficulty gradually even kids at the very beginning level can do it; or pick the level based on the kids current level or interest. To enjoy the activity, all three sets of worksheets have coloring activities.

Three Levels of Winter-Themed Chinese Colors Worksheets and Directions

Worksheet Activity 1 – Color the pictures, and match the words shown on the pictures

The pictures on both columns have Chinese characters and Pinyin, for beginner learners, match the pictures that have the same characters and Pinyin.

Worksheet Activity 2 – Color the pictures, and match the words to the pictures

Level 2 has one column only with pictures and the other column has Chinese characters and Pinyin. This set of worksheets requests the learners match the pictures to the words (words in Chinese characters and Pinyin).

Worksheet Activity 3 – Color the pictures, cut and match the words to the pictures

In this set of worksheets, the Chinese words are written only in Chinese characters, without any Pinyin. This activity is designed for learners who want to challenge themselves with Chinese characters.

This Winter-themed Chinese colors activity is hands-on and no-prep. Just download, print the pages, and hand them out to kids. Kids will enjoy learning and practicing Chinese with the coloring and matching activities.
