It’s time to show our love and gratitude to our beloved father! For this special day- Father’s Day, I created a Father’s Day Minibook in both Chinese (with Pinyin) and English for kids to draw and color and to make a special present for their best Dads!
In this minibook, there are a variety of father-related black-and-white illustrations for kids to color. And there are also spaces for kids to draw their Dads, and their Dad’s favorite food. This way it can show their Dads that the kids care and love their Dads, as they know their Dads very well.
While the kids enjoy coloring and drawing, they can also learn some Chinese words and sentences for Father’s Day:
父亲节快乐 fù qīn jié kuài lè – Happy Father’s Day
爸爸 bà ba – Dad
爱 ài – love
超人 chāo rén – superman
我爱爸爸 wǒ ài bà ba – I love Dad.
这是我的爸爸 Zhè shì wǒ de bà bà – This is my Dad.
他最喜欢的食物是：Tā zuì xǐ huān de shí wù shì ：- His favourite food is:

How to create this Father’s Day minibook
- Print it out with A4 or Letterhead paper.
2. Kids then can draw a picture of their Dad and their Dad’s favorite food, and color all the elements.
3. Fold along the short edge, then cut along the dotted line.
4. Fold it all to make a minibook. Done!
