leaf: 树叶shù yè
acorn: 橡子xiàng zǐ
apple: 苹果píng guǒ
pumpkin: 南瓜nán guā
corn: 玉米yù mǐ
pinecone: 松塔sōng tǎ
scarecrow: 稻草人dào cǎo rén
One of the coloring page versions has fall themed items’ illustrations, Chinese characters and Pinyin, which provide a great opportunity for beginner Chinese learners to immerse themselves in the Chinese language and culture, they can practice pronouncing the words and tracing Chinese characters while doing the coloring activity.
The other version includes illustrations and Chinese characters without Pinyin. The combination of illustrations with Chinese characters can facilitate visual learning and reinforce learners’ literacy.
Coloring these fall-themed pages is a great way to enjoy the fall season as well as the Chinese language.
