On this page, you can find the question list and cards – set two which can be used for warm-up and review activities in Chinese class.
It is corresponding to the Chinese textbooks of Chinese Make Easy for Kids (CMEK), Easy Step to Chinese for Kids (ESTCK), and YCT ect..

You can find 18 basic questions in the question set 2. Each question has a corresponding round card. Each card has a nice illustration and one question in Chinese characters (Hanzi). You can also find the Pinyin card for each question which can be sticked to the back side of the question card as needed to make it double-sided.

How to use the question cards
Activity one_Conversation/Dialogues:
Put the question cards in a small bag or box, make it disordered;
Divided students in to groups or pairs;
Students take turns to pick a card and answer the question;
Student answered correctly gets one point.
Activity two_ tic-tac-toe:
Draw a 3×3 table on the whiteboard;
Stick 9 cards on each grid of the 3×3 table;
Divide students into pairs or groups;
Each student or group answers the question correctly can remove the card and put a “x” or “o”.
Student or team get three “x” or “o” in a line first win the game.
Activity three_ speech:
You can lay the cards in a line on the whiteboard or table with the order you need;
Then, have students make a speech with looking at the cards (as hints). For example, when you want your students to make speech, you can lay the corresponding question cards on the whiteboard or elsewhere that students can see, then students can look at the illustration/Chinese as hints to give speech, such as daily routine and so on.
It reduces the difficulties for students who need support to complete the self-introduction or other tasks.
Above are the three most popular activities that my students love. You can create more fun activities with the question cards.
