The Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节, Zhōngqiū Jié) is a wonderful time to celebrate family, blessings, and traditions.
To make learning fun for kids, I’ve created a set of free Mid-Autumn Festival bookmarks for kids to color, personalize and give out as a gift, or for own use.
In this post, you can find 4 nice designed Mid-Autumn Festival Bookmarks that are free to download.

Each bookmark features festive images—like the moon, lanterns, mooncakes, and the Jade Rabbit—along with simple Chinese blessings in both Chinese characters (Hanzi) and Pinyin. Children can color them, personalize them, and use them as a keepsake.
These bookmarks are not only a creative activity, but also a way for young learners to connect with Chinese culture and language.
These bookmarks aren’t just for kids—they’re also great for adults who enjoy mindful coloring activities. Whether in the classroom, at home, or as part of a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration, they offer a simple and meaningful way to learn, relax, and create.
What’s included:
- 4 printable bookmarks with Mid-Autumn themes
- Chinese blessings written in characters + pinyin
- Beautiful line art illustrations for children to color and personalize

How to use these bookmarks:
- Print and color – Let kids choose their favorite designs and decorate with pencils, markers, or crayons.
- Learn the blessings – Read the Chinese phrases together and practice saying them aloud.
- Cut and laminate – Once colored, cut out the bookmarks. Laminating them makes them durable and long-lasting.
- Use or gift – Kids can keep them for their own books, give them to friends and family, or exchange them as cultural gifts during the festival.
