Flashcards are known as effective language learning tools as they involve visual learning that helps young learners and even adult learners learn Chinese best through sight. Flashcards can also help learners expand their vocabulary and improve retention.
On this page, you can find a set of Pinyin Rhyme Flashcards that is rhyming, fun, carefully designed, and informative.

Every Pinyin card is given a short sentence of rhyme which helps learners easily read and memorize the pronunciation of the Pinyin.
Each short sentence corresponds with an illustration that helps the learners understand the meaning of the sentence with visual aids.
Moreover, each short sentence of the rhyme provides the opportunity to expose the learners to the Chinese sentence structure naturally and effortlessly, learners can memorize many Chinese expressions while reading the rhyme.
It is rhyming, fun, and easy to read, perfect for both kids and adults to learn and practice Chinese Pinyin in a fun and easy way.
The Pinyin Rhyme Flashcards cover all the Pinyin components: consonants (Initials), vowels (finals), and whole syllables totaling 63 flashcards. Learners can learn all the 63 Pinyin in a fun and rhyming way, in addition, learners can also learn 63 short expressions in rhyme while learning Pinyin.

How To Use the Pinyin Rhyme Flashcards
They are three versions of flashcards that are all in 2×2 layout:
Pinyin version rhyme flashcards;
Chinese character (Hanzi) version rhyme flashcards;
Pinyin flashcards -(Pinyin only) 63 cards.
The flashcards can be made as both one-sided cards and double-sided cards.
Teachers or parents can make the cards one-sided or double-sided based on your teaching ideas.
I made double-sided cards as I use Pinyin-only side to teach Pinyin pronunciation and the rhyme side to teach the rhyme at the same time. And I also do some quizzes with students using the double-sided cards for practice and review. For example, I let students randomly choose a card and then have students pronounce the Pinyin (using Pinyin side) or say the rhyme (using rhyme side). This can be done individually or by team.
One-sided cards
Set the printer’s page orientation as “landscape”;
Print out the pages with A4 or US Letter papers;
Cut out the cards;
Laminate the cards for durable use.

Double-sided cards

Paste the Pinyin-only cards with either Pinyin rhyme cards or Chinese character (Hanzi) rhyme cards correspondingly, depending on the version you would like to have.

Double-sided cards A: one side of the card with only Pinyin and the other side of the card with Pinyin rhyme.
