This free Christmas coloring book has eleven pages and is designed to make learning Chinese fun, engaging, and stress-free for young learners. It is available in two thoughtfully designed versions to suit different learning needs and ability levels.

The first version includes festive illustrations, Chinese characters, and Pinyin. This version is ideal for beginner Chinese learners, as it helps children build character recognition while connecting sounds (Pinyin) with meaning through visual cues. The combination of images, characters, and Pinyin supports visual learning, reinforces early literacy skills, and encourages natural language immersion.

The second version features illustrations with Pinyin only, making it perfect for absolute beginners or younger children. Without characters, learners can focus on pronunciation and listening skills. While coloring, children are encouraged to say the words aloud, helping them develop confidence in speaking Chinese in a relaxed and playful way.

If you would like your young learners to engage in a fun and step-by-step Chinese literacy learning, you may want to check out our Christmas Printable Pack which provides Chinese Pinyin, vocabulary, character and expression exercises with over ten different types of no-prep and hands-on activities worksheets.

Coloring these Christmas illustrations is a great way to enjoy Christmas holiday as well as the Chinese language.

Through this coloring activity, children will learn eleven Christmas-themed words in Chinese, turning art time into meaningful language practice. Coloring with crayons or colored pencils keeps hands busy while minds stay engaged, making this an effective low-pressure learning activity.

Kids will learn eleven Christmas words in the Chinese language along with their coloring activity. After coloring all the items with their crayon or colored pencils, staple them together using a stapler to make a Christmas Coloring Book.
