nineteen: 十九 shí jiǔ

Based on your students’ learning progress, these worksheets come in three difficulty levels: 1 to 5, 1 to 10, and 1 to 20. This makes it easy for teachers and parents to choose the version that best fits each child’s current stage.

Numbers one to five

Beginners can start with the 1–5 matching page.

Numbers one to ten

Gradually move up to the 1–10 worksheet.

Numbers one to twenty

And finally challenge themselves with the 1–20 version as their confidence grows.

Each level includes two versions to support different stages of Chinese learning.

For students who are ready to recognize Chinese characters (Hanzi), there is a version where they match the character to the correct number.

For beginners who are still focusing on pronunciation, there is a Pinyin version, where they match the Pinyin words to the numbers.

This dual-option format allows you to choose the most suitable worksheet for your learners—whether they are just starting with Mandarin sounds or already moving on to character recognition.

If you would like your young learners to engage in a fun and step-by-step Chinese literacy learning, you may want to check out our Christmas Printable Pack which provides Chinese Pinyin, vocabulary, character and expression exercises with over ten different types of no-prep and hands-on activities worksheets.
