Board games are fun and engaging activities in learning languages. My students love board games!

Preparation
Teachers or parents can add words or questions to the template with PDF.
You can also print out the template first, then paste pre prepared small pictures on each grid on the template.
Print the templates on A4, A3 or other sizes of paper you like. Make sure to set the printing scale to fit the printing area.
What I usually do is copying the pictures from the textbook which I am teaching, then cut out the pictures and paste them on the grids on the template.
Suggest printing it on cardstock or laminate for durable use.
Prepare dice. If you don’t have dice, check out our dice template post and get it ready to use.
Done!
How to play

For vocabulary practice, what I usually do is copying images from the textbook on A4 paper, cut off the images, and paste them on the grid on the template with double-sided adhesive tape or glue, then it’s ready to play. Students take turns to roll the dice and say the name of the corresponding image.
You can also use the templates for Q and A. Just add one question to each division such as “What day is it today? “, “How old are you?” etc.. Then have students take turns to roll the dice and answer the corresponding questions.
Student who reach the goal first win the game.
